The work takes its roots from a reflection on how images of the war in Ukraine and the crimes of Russian aggression are perceived through the prism of device screens and social media in particular.
Looking in a huge mirror in the shape of a smartphone with the inscription "Sensitive content", the viewer can see his or her own reflection and empathize with the position of the victim.
In addition to their own reflection, the mirror shows the Russian embassy in the center of Berlin, built in the Stalinist Empire style and decorated with symbols of the communist totalitarian regime.
Accordingly, it raises the issue of Russian manipulation and propaganda in historical narratives that are also present in the city's space.
The mirror allows us to look at the embassy from an alternative perspective and raises the question of Russia's hegemony as the successor to the USSR, which disregards the rights of other republics and continues to pursue an expansive imperialist policy.
This intervention intends to provoke reflection on the interaction between past and present, physical and digital, truth and lies.
